1. Separate collection of waste equipment
Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. Waste equipment must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste.
2. Meaning of the symbol
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that the respective device must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its life cycle. The symbol applies to equipment placed on the market after 13 August 2005.
3. Return and disposal in the B2B sector
Unless otherwise agreed, customers may return their waste equipment to us free of charge by sending it to us or handing it over. The waste equipment will be properly recycled or disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
4. Data deletion
End users are solely responsible for deleting any personal data stored on waste equipment before returning or disposing of it.
5. Batteries and lamps
Where waste equipment contains batteries, accumulators or lamps that are not permanently installed, these must be removed prior to disposal and disposed of separately, where technically feasible and reasonable.
6. Information on possible hazardous substances
Electrical and electronic equipment may contain hazardous substances which can have harmful effects on the environment and human health if not disposed of properly. Separate collection helps to avoid these risks and enables valuable resources to be recycled.
